Scandinavian Design
Scandinavians are avid knitters. My Norwegian grandmother taught me how to crochet many years ago, a skill and memory I treasure immensely.
Being a knitter on Instagram it is hard not to miss those fantastic knitting designers out there, and we especially love the beautiful designs coming from Scandinavia. Many of these have their patterns translated to other languages, including English. Here are just a few we’ve been following for a while, and hope you can be just as inspired as we’ve been by these talented people.
Even though the patterns are not specifically for DROPS yarn, they are very easily adaptable. Look at the knitting tension and needle recommendation and cross reference with Drops yarn. We also regularly post on our social media accounts other knitters who’ve adapted patters by these designers to use DROPS wool.
